I Got Nothin'

But in the effort to entertain and inform, I offer this post.

This guy makes us laugh every time we pass him hanging over the neighbor's fence.

Do you suppose he's connected to the neighborhood watch?

We found where all the locals hang out during this 110 degree heat. Check out the hours for 'happy hour' at this local bar.

And who the heck is Duchess?

We had a record low for humidity a few days ago - 2 percent! I guess it really is a dry heat. I can't remember the last time we have had measurable rain since the torrential downpours in January, but that might change. We have been informed that we are now into monsoon season, but so far all we've seen are a few clouds.

It seems to only be raining in the mountains - maybe on our friends up in Show Low. It's pretty bad when you get so sick of sunny, blue skies that you're hoping for rain.

  1. Ok. Why don't you travel to Alaska i.e. Anchorage where we haven't seen much of the sun lately...lows in the 50's and highs in the mid-60's but not much sun.

  6. I think that guy peering over the fence is "Wilson" (from "Tool Time)!

  7. Humidity at 2% that's lower than inside a house in Colorado in the middle of winter. How often do you get a shock when you walk across a carpet?

  8. Is that fence guy keeping track of your visits to Happy Hour? And can Ron hook up a cold one through one of those attachments to his arm? ;c)

Hope you get rolling to somewhere cooler soon!

  10. Strangely enough, we got shocked more often in the winter when it was 20-30% humidity.

Well, Sally, IF we EVER get out of here, we're planning to join up with the WINs.

Hope you soon get to leave for a cooler spot. We had three beautiful days of ideal weather but now the forecast is 90's for the next week.

    Miss you!

  13. Isn't it funny when you stumble upon a blog where you don't recognize the Blogger, or any of the people commenting? It's like a whole different universe! It's nice to hear some new "voices"
    I swear I'm not psychotic...these voices aren't in my head ;)

Loved reading your blog! I'm a new fulltimer...I think the newest and youngest on the block!
